 My
writing and my art rest on a background rich in life experiences and
learning. Flowing from our
unique life as lighthouse
keepers and inspired by a wide variety of interests, my writing
tends to be personal and even humorous. Some of my favorite writing topics
are family life, the outdoors, history, gardening, self-sufficient living,
personal development, education, and home schooling.Tending to details, doing research, and being on time bring me pleasure. I have a Bachelors in Education with emphasis in Language Arts, History, and Fine Arts. My teaching experience was enriched by many years of classroom teaching in remote, multi-grade classrooms and additional education in the areas of learning differences, learning styles, and theraputic tutoring for the reading disadvantaged.
